Amp draw is a simple mathematical calculation. Divide the total number of watts by the system's volts. For example, a 100-watt bulb in a 12-volt system will draw 8.3 amps.
(100w / 12v = 8.3a)
For systems with multiple lights, you would add up the wattage of each light and divide that by the system's volts. A 2 x 100-watt bulb in a 12-volt system will draw 16.6 amps. (2x100w / 12v = 16.6)
