Installation Difficulty Levels
To help set expectations, installs are grouped into three difficulty levels.

Wiring Method and Install Time
The wiring method used can affect installation time.
Using the KC Wiring Harness
Estimated time: About 1.5 hours
This process typically includes:
- Mounting the lights
- Routing the wiring harness
- Installing the relay and fuse
- Installing a switch inside the vehicle
- Securing wiring
Using Factory AUX Switches
Estimated time: About 1 hour
Vehicles equipped with factory auxiliary switches often reduce install time because:
- No relay harness installation is required
- Wiring runs are shorter
- Switching is already integrated into the vehicle
