The KC® Wire Hider is designed to create a clean, professional-looking wiring setup for off-road lighting and accessories. This next-generation version introduces KC’s KClip™ system, improving durability, ease of installation, and long-term performance in real-world conditions.
What Makes the New Wire Hider Different
The updated Wire Hider solves one of the most common install problems: adhesive failure over time.
Instead of relying on adhesive attached to flexible rubber, the system uses a dual-retention design:
- KClip™ mounts are secured to your vehicle using 3M™ VHB™ tape
- The rubber wire channel mechanically locks into the KClips
This approach:
- Prevents peeling and lifting over time
- Holds strong through heat, cold, moisture, and rough terrain
- Keeps the visible portion clean and uniform
Key Features
Secure Dual-Retention System
KClip™ mounts bond directly to the surface, while the wire channel locks into place mechanically for a long-lasting hold.
Clean, OEM-Style Appearance
The interlocking channel fully conceals wiring for a factory-style finish.
Expanded Wire Capacity
The internal channel fits wiring bundles up to ½ inch in diameter, accommodating modern lighting harnesses.
Quick, No-Mess Installation
No liquid adhesives required—just peel, place, and secure.
Built for Harsh Conditions

- Periodically check fitment after extreme use (off-road, weather exposure)
Common Questions
Will this work with thicker aftermarket harnesses?
Yes. The updated channel supports wiring bundles up to ½”.
Can I remove and reuse it?
KClips use VHB tape, which is designed for permanent mounting. Removal may require new adhesive.
Where can I mount it besides the windshield?
Anywhere with a clean, smooth surface—rooflines, racks, and body panels are common options.
